Join Nikki Stitch in a 6 week long intensive knitting workshop. Learn to knit and purl, stitch recognition, and how to read a pattern. We will start with finger knitting to understand how stitches work and complete a pair of wristwarmers and headband. A certificate of completion will be awarded to all who finish!

Tuesday mornings 10:30-12.
Week One: We will start with finger knitting to learn basic movements and understand how stitches look.
Week Two: Knit with two sticks! Using bulky yarn and larger needles, we will learn how to cast on, the knit stitch, and binding off. Keep practicing at home!
Week Three: We will learn to purl.
Week Four: We will learn how to alternate knit and purl stitches to practice making ribbing and seed stitch.
Week Five: We will learn to read a pattern and make wrist warmers with stockinette stitch and ribbing.
Week Six: We will use a pattern to make a headband with seed stitch.
