Instructor: Melody Williams
Having trouble with your sewing machine? This workshop covers the troubleshooting steps for quick maintenance and repair, as well as assessment to see if further professional repair is needed for your sewing machine.
All domestic machines are welcome! We will cover properly threading a variety of machines, checking tension, oiling, cleaning, and how to order simple replacement parts if needed.
(1) Textiles West is not a repair shop and some maintenance and repair requires professional repair or contacting your machine’s local dealer. However, we will assess your machine during the class.
(2) This is not an introduction to sewing machines! For new users who would like an introduction to using their machine, please check our class list for Getting to Know You: Sewing Machines Intro.
