Instructor: Catherine Carr
Class Description: " Part of Textiles West's vision for responsible creativity is recycling. Avoiding the use of plastic bags in the first place simplifies things from the get-go. This 'Bagitall' is a roomy, sturdy bag with a very comfortable handle. Stash your grocery store ID card inside and roll it up on the front seat to grab as you get out of your car. It's large enough for a gallon of milk, a box of cereal, eggs, and some fruit. You will have your own copy of the pattern to take home and reuse!
This class will provide instruction and/or refinement in the skills of: 'reading' a pattern; dealing with heavy, loosely woven fabrics; creating a reinforced seam; better knowledge of your machine's utility stitches, use of pressing to improve outcome and make other steps easier. You will have a pattern to take home to make more bagitalls
