Class Description: Yes, you can felt and no, you don’t need to know how to knit! Wet felting is fun, easy, and yields beautiful results. You’ll learn how fibers felt, how to lay out even layers of roving, how to do several surface design techniques, and how colors can enhance any project, then create a beautiful silk and wool scarf to take home at the end of the day. Plan on using your arms, getting wet, and having a great time learning a new skill!

Number of hours for class: 1-day, 7 hours
Class Level: Fascination – These classes will introduce you to a new skill, concept or technique and are open to all levels. The student may, however, be required to have a basic skill or have taken a certification class. For example, for a flat-pattern drafting class one need not know anything about flat-pattern drafting but should have a basic understanding of the sewing machine. Any prerequisites will be listed in the class description.
