Instructor:  Mary Madison

Class Description: A mini project designed to un-stress you and your local landfill. Bring a large fork and picture frame rescued from a thrift store or bring from home what you’ve been meaning to give to a thrift store.

In this class we will turn this frame into a loom for your use today and hopefully lots more once you’re home. An assortment of fabrics and yarns will be available to make your first placemat. From these instructions you will be able to complete a set at your leisure. No previous experience needed. The goal is a relaxing, stress-free activity, not a masterpiece.

So bring your used frame and be prepared to Slow Weave and get re-acquainted with your creative side.

Materials fee: $10, includes fabrics, threads, yarn, nails and paint.
